Happy January 10, 2009

Do you know what happen on this date 34 years ago? The love of my life, my husband, Ed, joined the U. S. Coast Guard. I missed him so much for 10 LONG weeks and then our life changed forever. After boot camp we moved to Washington, DC. He was stationed in the Presidential Honor Guard for one year. What an honor that was for both of us. Then off to Elizabeth City, NC for Aviation Electronics school and then to our last station, Kodiak, Alaska Coast Guard Airbase. He was with Search and Rescue. Two years in a beautiful part of our country. Ed made a wonderful and honorable military man. He was so proud to serve our country. I love you ED!!!!!!!!!
